1. Judge Score & Comment CardNew

  1. When: any judged cookoff where judges score on paper at the table (KC-Style, Steak or Chili), or as a backup if Wi-Fi drops.
  2. Where: Event Resources → Judge Score & Comment Card, or /print/judge-card. Open it from your Dashboard to prefill your event name and categories.
  3. Fill in: one card per judge per category. Judges write the turn-in box number, score each criterion for the event's Scoring Style, and tick private comments (e.g. 'great bark', 'too salty').
  4. Print: tap Print — cards print clean on letter paper, no app chrome.
  5. Back into the platform: organizers enter all scores on EasyCookoff — on the Scoring page, pick the category and enter each judge's numbers for the matching team. Totals, ties and tiebreakers are calculated automatically. Tap the comment icon to add the same comments. They stay private to that team and appear in their results.

2. People's Choice Ballots (numbered)New

  1. When: People's Choice, Ribfest or 'best side' votes where the public votes with paper ballots or tickets.
  2. Where: Dashboard → your event → People's Choice ballots (or Event Resources). Opening it from your Dashboard prefills your team numbers.
  3. Print: 6 ballots per page with a team number key. Hand one to each taster, or post the key at each booth.
  4. Tally: count the circled numbers or tickets per team.
  5. Back into the platform: open the PC Tracker. The # column matches the ballot numbers. Enter each team's People's Choice Ticket Count, and the leader and payouts calculate automatically and flow into your Event P&L.

3. Rules Packet (replaces the old Rules Example Form)New

  1. When: before registration opens, so teams know fees, payouts, turn-in times and rules.
  2. Where: Dashboard → your event → Rules Packet.
  3. Fill in: event details (dates, location, cookoffs and Scoring Style, entry fees, payout ladders, schedule, ribs, payment methods) fill in automatically. Edit the standard sections or add your own, then Save.
  4. Print: tap Print / Save as PDF for a branded packet to hand out at check-in.
  5. Back into the platform: flip 'Publish to event page'. Teams read it online and tap "I've read the rules". You'll see who has signed on the Rules Packet page and a Rules ✓ badge on your Dashboard.

4. Team Comment Card (Feedback Survey)New

  1. When: at the awards ceremony or right after the event, so teams can rate your cookoff.
  2. Where: Event Resources → Team Comment Card, or /print/team-feedback. Teams can also fill it in online from the link we send them after the event.
  3. Fill in: teams rate organization, judging, facilities and overall experience, and leave comments. It's anonymous.
  4. Print: put a stack at check-in or the awards table.
  5. Back into the platform: online responses land on your Dashboard automatically, with averages. Paper responses can be typed into the same online form so every response counts in your averages.

5. Event Flyer & QR Rib Cards

  1. Where: Dashboard → your event → Flyer.
  2. Print or share: a flyer with payouts, your cause and sign-up QR codes, plus rib cards whose QR links to your event page.

6. Worked Example: a paper rules form → EasyCookoffNew

  2. Download the sample paper form (.docx, clearly marked fictional) to see a complete traditional form.
  3. In your event's Rules Packet, tap 'Start from the Pulled Pork example' to load its rule sections (competition rules, meat & sampling, judging, home-based sales, team agreement), then edit them and Save.
